LeanLaw and QuickBooks Online Advanced have entered into an agreement to collaborate and jointly go-to-market with their powerful solutions for mid-sized law firms, offering firms the top-rated legal product in the QuickBooks Online ecosystem.
Boise, Idaho, August 31, 2020 — Today LeanLaw announced its agreement with Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU), the maker of QuickBooks Online Advanced, to provide small to mid-sized law firms with a seamless solution for timekeeping, invoicing, trust accounting, reporting, and accounting that addresses the needs of businesses with growing complexities.
“QuickBooks Online Advanced and LeanLaw are a great fit for a small to mid-sized law firm. We have been focused on mid-sized firms for some time and launched a product, LeanLaw Pro, specifically for the mid-market in April of 2020,” said Gary Allen, long-time practicing lawyer and CEO of LeanLaw. “We are excited to collaborate with Intuit. They have a terrific open platform and app ecosystem, which we believe is the best way to offer the customer the power of one of the world’s leading brands and the customization of a niche application at the same time.”
The mid-size law firm software market is populated with outdated, mostly on-premise and server-based tools. These systems are overbuilt for most mid-size firms and lack flexibility, accessibility, and integration with other parts of the law firm’s finances. QuickBooks Online Advanced in partnership with LeanLaw delivers a flexible solution that is tailor-made for businesses at this stage of growth.
“The momentum we have experienced since launching QuickBooks Online Advanced proves the unmet market need that QuickBooks Online Advanced solves,” said Kelly Vincent, Vice President, Mid-Market, Intuit QuickBooks. “We provide mid-sized businesses with a comprehensive, affordable, online solution that includes robust reporting, faster invoicing, and dedicated support. The combination of QuickBooks Online Advanced with LeanLaw addresses the specific accounting challenges of law firms as they grow.”
QuickBooks Online Advanced customers using the existing LeanLaw Pro App that is available for QuickBooks Online customers have the ability to:
- Automate workflows: Increase productivity and decrease manual work by automating workflows. For example, anywhere, anytime, any device timekeeping pushes automatically to invoices which can be emailed to clients and paid directly with QuickBooks Payments, another service offered by Intuit.
- Real-time financial transparency: Understand the finances of a law firm with a few clicks — real-time data includes everything the firm needs to manage client billing and payments, firm and timekeeper productivity, and law firm compensation.
- Clearly defined user roles: LeanLaw’s user roles allow a firm to control the financial data its employees and partners can access within LeanLaw.
- Scalable solution: Both QuickBooks Online Advanced and LeanLaw Pro are built to accommodate the complex needs of mid-sized law firms.
