Users have two convenient options for attaching receipts to expenses in LeanLaw. First, LeanLaw now allows the syncing of attachments directly from QuickBooks. As you record your hard costs in QuickBooks, you can choose to have these attachments automatically transfer over to LeanLaw.

Alternatively, users can simply attach files directly within LeanLaw’s interface. The process is intuitive—drag and drop your files, or upload them using the file explorer. This added flexibility ensures that no matter where you are, or how you manage expenses, attaching receipts is straightforward.

Recognizing that professionals are often on the move, LeanLaw has extended this attachment functionality to its mobile app. Users can now take pictures of receipts with their smartphones and attach them to expenses, all from the convenience of their mobile device.

Effortless Organization and Delivery

LeanLaw’s expenses page now offers the ability to sort expenses, making it easy to identify which items have attachments. This organizational feature saves time and reduces the hassle of manual tracking.

When it’s time to bill, LeanLaw provides multiple delivery methods for expense attachments. Users can email invoices and attachments directly to clients or download them for upload to a vendor portal. LeanLaw has also introduced a feature to download a zip file containing all your expense attachments, simplifying the process of sending bulk expense documents to clients.
