LeanLaw wants to give you some quick and easy tips to improve your social media presence to help you niche into law firms.

If a lawyer comes across your website or your social media and you don’t mention attorneys or law firms, you’re missing out on business. We want to fix that.

Other steps to take to improve your online credibility:

  1. On your LinkedIn Profile:
    1. you can paste the badge into your banner. Again, let us know if you need help.
    2. In your Intro, under Headline you can put: LeanLaw Accounting Pro (in the same place that you list QuickBooks ProAdvisor)
    3. Under Licenses and Certifications, you can put: LeanLaw Accounting Pro, LeanLaw as the issuing organization. Under credential URL, please put the accountant finder page:https://www.leanlaw.co/legal-accounting-experts/
    4. Ask your law firm clients for a recommendation on LinkedIn
    5. Connect with LeanLaw and other accounting professionals
    6. Make sure your contact info and link to your website is up to date, including any social media

You don’t have to post all the time on social media. Even if you do it once a week to make it look active, you will begin to see an increase in traffic. Remember: only post valuable information. If you wouldn’t want to read it, don’t post it.

Use a social media management tool.

With these apps, you can schedule a month’s worth of tweets, FB posts, Instagram posts, LinkenIn posts in advance. And you can do it in no time, so you’re not always having to think about what to post on a daily basis. And still, you can post in real time if you come across something you want to post right away. We use Hootsuite, but there are many alternatives and you might be able to use a free version.
